Apples and blackberries
are two of the most popular fruits but are not often used together as juice.
Look for large, ripe blackberries that are bursting with flavor and juice.
Ingredients
2 large eating Apples
225g (3oz Blackberries)
1-2 tsp clear honey (optional)
Ice cubes (to serve)

Chilled sparkling water, to dilute (optional)
Method
Lightly rinse the
apples and blackberries
Cut apples into quarters
Discard the apple core and cut pieces into chunks
Pass the apple pieces and blackberries through a juicer or blender until juice is formed
Taste and add honey if desired
Place ice cubes into a glass
Pour juice over top of ice cubes
Dilute with sparkling water
Decorate with mint sprigs and a blackberry

Alternative
Replace the
blackberries with same amount of blackcurrants. You may need to increase the
amount of honey depending on how ripe the blackcurrants are.
